Cosimo_Bruzzese_PHOTOBriggs_Web_LogoCosimo Bruzzese, Director of Sales in Briggs Inc. Cosimo joined Briggs Inc in 2002, bringing with him an outstanding sales record in the hospitality industry with 8 years of previous experience. In his current role, as Director of Sales, Cosimo is responsible for developing and maintaining Sales & Marketing and is the primary contact for Corporate and Incentive clients. Prior to Briggs, Cosimo held sales and product management positions with several inbound airlines, tour operators, cruise lines and hotels. He was responsible for contracting all tariff products and development of sales strategies. Cosimo has worked and studied both in the United States and in Europe giving him the opportunity to experience different sales methods and learn many languages, such as Italian, Spanish & French. He currently serves on the Membership Committee for SITE and is the past SITE Co-Chair for the Young Leaders program, which is designed to build the next generation of performance improvement leaders by providing education and networking opportunities on a level and in a manner appealing directly to those younger generations. With his responsibility as Director of Sales, he teaches hospitality industry classes several times during the year in New York’s top Universities like NYU & St John’s University. He also serves on the MPIGNY Board of Directors and is a proud father of twins. Personal philosophy: There’s no limit to what you can achieve, it all depends on how far you are willing to go to get it!

Aoife Delaney, Business Development Manager UK & Ireland in Ovation Global DMC. Graduating with an honours degree in International Business in 2006, Aoife joined Ovation Ireland as Account Executive before progressing into a Sales Executive role with Ovation Global DMC in early 2008. In her current role as Business Development Manager for the UK and Ireland Aoife promotes all of Ovation's Global Destinations to the Irish and UK market. Aoife has been an active member of the Site Young Leaders Committee for for the last 3 years and currently serves as co-chair with Miguel Assis. As well as a love of the travel industry, Aoife is a keen baker (with cupcake-baking skills that would have Martha Stewart in a sweat!) and a keep-fit fanatic - with the Dublin City Marathon under her belt she  now  hopes to tackle the New York City Marathon shortly!


Freddy_mullersilversea_freddyFreddy Muller, is currently the Sales Director for Silversea Cruises, Corporate and Incentive Sales Department. In his current role he is in charge of developing partnerships and relationships with in the United States, Latin America and Caribbean. His exciting career in the hospitality industry started 18 years ago with Celebrity Cruises as a reservation agent and was quickly promoted with in a year into the Charter and Incentive Department. After Celebrity Cruises he has held management positions in incentive sales at Norwegian Cruise Lines, and Kerzner International, operator of Atlantis Paradise Island. He is also been a member of Site for the past nine years with, and has held positions such as Site Florida President, Board of Directors and most recently the 2009 Site International Conference Chair held in Aruba.


isabel_kuhlevents_ingaIsabel Kuhl is an editor at Events Magazine. Prior to joining the team, Isabel worked in an event agency and as author and editor for various publishing houses. She received her Ph.D. degree in art history from Cologne University.

 


 

Miguel_AssisTLC_miguelMiguel Assis, Director of Sales & Marketing in TLC Events in Portugal. Miguel has a degree in Mining Engineering and Post Graduate Dregree in Management. However, he soon discovered he had a natural talent for marketing, a business area that he fully embraced at TLC. Miguel is also a member of the Young Leaders Forum Board of the Society of Incentive and Travel Executives (SITE). He is a very sociable person with a great sense of humour, and always likes to add something to what is being done…with lots of creativity. He really enjoys outdoor sports like surfing, snowboard and golf. He loves to travel, meet new people and to get involved with different cultures and environments.


Natasha1DubaiCVB_natashaNatasha Tome, Head of Marketing in Dubai Convention Bureau. Natasha Tomé has enjoyed a varied and successful career in the meetings industry spanning more than 10 years. A Canadian, Natasha began her hospitality career with the Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts Head Office in Toronto, and has gone on to hold senior positions at ICCA Head Office in Amsterdam and more recently is heading up the Marketing Department of the Dubai Convention Bureau. Natasha is an active member of MPI and is on the board of the ICCA Middle East Chapter.



KevinCORPORATE_LOGO_-_NEW_JPGKevin Edmunds, Regional Director of Sales, West Coast. Kevin V Edmunds is the West Coast Regional Director in the group, incentive, and meeting market for Palace Resorts; all-inclusive resorts based in Mexico and the Dominican Republic. Kevin graduated from Chapman University, with a Bachelors Degree in Communications and a minors study in Organizational Leadership; Kevin now serves on the Alumni Board of Directors for Chapman, as the Young Alumni Chair. He is also currently earning a Masters of Science in Global Leadership from the University of San Diego. Kevin is very active in the SITE Young Leaders Committee, as well as assisting in organizing the first SITE SoCal Young Leaders Summit in the summer of 2010. Kevin loves to play sports, obviously has a love for travel, and his passion for life is very apparent in his relationships with his colleagues, friends, and family.


OLGA_navarroITB__olgaOlga Navarro is the Sales Director of ITB dmc where she has been working since 1998. She started in the hospitality industry back in 1989 guiding Spanish groups through France, Switzerland and Spain to then lead the Concierge Desk of a 5* GL hotel in Barcelona for five additional years. She's currently serving as board member of Sima association as well as the Site Spain Chapter as VP Communication, and she's at present the Chairwoman of the 2010 Site's International Conference. Olga speaks seven languages and is currently studying a Master in Marketing and Communication. And she's a mother of a very relaxing and quiet 6 years old boy (just like her!).

Michael identifies and implements innovative business development and sales strategies to increase market share and revenue growth objectives by leveraging eventAcuity’s five-star service offerings. Michael has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgia State University as well as a wealth of experience in brand management, strategic planning, contract negotiation, and exceeding top-level client objectives. He is active in various industry associations including MPI, SITE and the Green Meetings Industry Council. He is thrilled to be a participant in the IMEX Challenge and looks forward adding his voice to a strong call to action for our industry to make a difference in the places we choose to meet.

EggertIceland_CongressEggert Thor Olason is Project Manager Iceland Congress. He graduated as a Master Chef from the School of hospitality and service in Reykjavik, Iceland 2003. He gained Working experience in different countries: Conran restaurant´s in London, Tavern on the Green and Aquavit in New York and in a Relais & Chateaux Hotel, Arlberg Hospiz in Austria.  Past years working as a guide in Iceland, specialized in Super Jeeps tours,  snowmobiles, adventure activities, such as, snow-games, cave exploring and other team building activities. In 2010 he graduated from University of Iceland   as a professional tour guide. Currently working for Iceland Congress as a project manager and developing new programs, such as volcano tours that are now the most popular thing to do for visitors.  During the active volcano Eggert went almost daily with journalist, photographers and other vistors on his Super Jeep to explore the eruption.

Jon Bradshaw, Business Development Director, IMEX Group, joined IMEX in March 2004. Jon's sales career began in 1993 in the international publishing division of the BBC. In 1996 he moved to IAPA to work on their membership magazine First Class, before joining EIBTM in 1999. He then spent three years as Sales Director for Premier Global, the UK's largest provider of personal fitness training courses. Jon was promoted to Business Development Director in June 2009. Away from IMEX Jon runs his own performance coaching business and is an active sportsman having recently completed a 5,400 charity bike ride across Europe.

FayeBennett3_000imex_2010Faye Bennett, Sales Manager, IMEX Group, joined IMEX in October 2005 and has over four years experience in the meetings industry.  She previously worked for a Surrey based venue finding agency, starting as sales support executive in 2001, promoted to business development executive in 2003.  In her previous role she was responsible for sales and account management and worked on a variety of events including the World Tax Conference, company away days and product launches.  Prior to this Faye worked in marketing and administration. Faye was promoted to Sales Manager in June 2009. Faye is currently studying for a BA degree in Literature with the Open University.


RachelJames2_000imex_2010Rachel Munro, Marketing Assistant, IMEX Group, joined IMEX in March 2009.  Rachel has 15 years experience in marketing administration, customer service and office management gained in both the private and public sectors.




Maciekmeeting_designersMaciej Ogieniewski, Meeting Designers. He has graduated his Marketing Managment Studies 12 years ago. Just after the finish he started to work in tourism industry, first in individual holidays sector and than after 4 years he chnaged for incentive travel sector. He decided to go on his own 5 years ago and together with his team are bulding professional services in planning incentive travel rewards and other marketing related meetings to their clients recruited from the most known brands in the country and some most known in the world. Maciek is trying to create strong connection between the way of our planning and clients marketing goals and strategy. His experience in marketing he developed in Chartered Institue of Marketing based in London UK by finishing course of Profesional Diploma in Marketing certified by them. MagdaWarsaw_CBMagdalena Hołowińska, Marketing Specialist in Warsaw Convention Bureau has a Bachelor Degree in English and Tourism and a Master’s in Destination Tourism Management that she received from University College Birmingham, UK. Prior to joining WCB team in 2008,  Magda worked in a travel agency and then in the hospitality industry for the Brend Hotels Group, UK where she first came across the organization of business meetings.
