IMEX-MPI Future Leaders Forum Warsaw
On 20.04.2010 in Warsaw was held the fifth student conference IMEX-MPI Future Leaders Forum Warsaw. The motto of this year's conference was: "Be like Chopin - compose your future".
The conference was held under the patronage of the biggest trade fairs of meeting industry IMEX, Meeting Profesionals International (MPI) - an international organization of more than 24 thousand experts meetings around the world and its Polish branch MPI Poland Club. Once again local support was granted by Warsaw Convention Bureau (Warsaw Tourist Office) and Convention Bureau of Poland Polish Tourist Organisation and konferencje.pl.

Poland at ESNEP
On 9 – 12 April 2010 in Porto (Portugal) European Site Networking and Education Program (ESNEP) took place. The conference was organized by The Society of Incentive & Travel Executives (SITE) which unite organizers, the principals meetings and corporate events all over the world, including above all incentive travel companies.
There were 120 representatives from 26 countries who met in Porto. Among them: Convention Bureau of Poland and 2 DMCs from Kraków: Intercrac and Time 4 Poland representatives. The education program focused on the business climate and current Europe trends. Lecturers emphasized the need for a shift in thinking due to the changing dynamics of the motivational events market.

National Mourning
On 10 April 2010, on the way to Katyń ceremony presidential plane crashed with 96 people on board. No one survived the crash, among them: the presidential couple, many prominent politicians, presidential guests, representatives of families of Katyń and crew. It is unimaginable tragedy for Poland, the Poles and all the loved ones who are left ...
Till 17 April 2010 Poland is in the throes of national mourning.

World Seed Congress in Poland
On 31 March 2010 in Warsaw took place a site inspection of representatives of Polish Seed Trade Association (Polska Izba Nasienna), which is a member of the International Seed Federation (ISF). Every year (since 2003) ISF is organizing a World Seed Congress for 1,500 people. So far congress held in India, Germany, Chile, Denmark, New Zealand, the Czech Republic and Turkey. This year World Seed Congress held in Calgary, Canada. Thanks to the efforts of Polish Members of ISF in May 2015 Poland will be hosting this big event. In place of the congress shall be dealt with Warsaw and Krakow.
