• meeting venue: venue, where there is a payment

ICCA - International Congress and Convention Association
prepares its ranking on the basis of collected data about association meetings divided into two categories: international governmental associations and interenational non-govermental organizations/associacions, which simultaneously meet the 3 following requirements:

• rotate on a regular basis
• attract a minimum of 50 participans
• rotate between at least 3 countries

UIA - Union of International Associations
compiles its ranking on the basis of collected data about international meetings, which simultaneously meet the following 4 criteria:

• minimum duration: 3 days
• minimum numbers of participans: 300
• minimum number of nationalities: 5
• minimum numbers of foreign participans: 40%
