Traveling by plane

samolotThe Copernicus International Airport is located ten kilometers away from the city centre. The airport has grown significantly over the last decade. In 2008, the airport serviced the movements of approx. 1,5 million passengers, with air traffic prognosis reaching up to 2,4 million passengers in year 2014.

Wrocław offers good air connections with major European transfer hubs such as: Frankfurt am Main, London, Munich and Copenhagen.

Moreover, passengers can easily reach over 18 destinations in countries around the world by transferring only once within less than 2 hours and 30 minutes.

A regular shuttle bus no. 406 connects the airport with the city centre and main railway station.

 

AIRPORT MODERNIZATION PROJECT

Between 2008 and 2011 a project of extension and modernization of Wrocław Copernicus Airport is being carried out. As a result – a new terminal with infrastructure will be constructed along with modernization and extension of existing terminal and airport areas.
